The animals on Manor Farm are fed up with their human masters exploiting them. Under the old boar Old Major, who wants to give the animals the products of their labor, they plan the revolution. When Old Major dies, the two pigs Snowball and Napoleon take the lead. Together the animals go onto the barricades and eventually drive the people off the farm. But Napoleon's new power went to his head. Under the guise of the new equality of all animals, Napoleon builds a brutal and corrupt society. His idea of a supposedly new system is: All animals are the same, but some animals are more equal than others.
